Blame Game is a Boros politics deck: Nelly Borca suspects and goads enemy creatures, then draws you cards whenever they smash into your opponents. The plan is to keep yourself out of the line of fire with defensive pieces while the table fights itself. These upgrades swap the clunky filler for cheap removal, better goad effects and finishers that cash in on a weakened board.

What the deck does well
- Nelly Borca turns every opposing creature into a goaded attacker that also draws you cards.
- Goad staples like Disrupt Decorum, Agitator Ant and Vengeful Ancestor make the theme work right out of the box.
- Defensive pieces such as Ghostly Prison, Windborn Muse and Brash Taunter keep attackers pointed away from you.
Where it struggles
- Gideon’s Sacrifice and Deflecting Palm are narrow tricks where the deck really needs flexible removal.
- Winds of Rath and Promise of Loyalty wipe your own board too, which undercuts a deck that wants to stay alive.
- Clunky cards like Tome of Legends, Ancient Stone Idol and Curse of Opulence do little for the goad plan.

Verdict
Blame Game is one of the most fun political precons around and plays well at casual tables straight out of the box. A handful of cheap swaps for removal and stronger goad cards make it far more consistent without changing its personality.
