World Shaper is the Jund (black, red, green) precon from Edge of Eternities Commander, captained by the Spacecraft Hearthhull, the Worldseed. Once stationed to 2 charge counters, Hearthhull lets you pay {1} and sacrifice a land to draw two cards and make an extra land drop; at 8+ it becomes a 6/7 flyer and every land you sacrifice drains each opponent for 2. The deck ramps hard, triggers landfall payoffs, then brings lands back from the graveyard to do it all again.

Below you’ll find the full interactive decklist, what the deck does well, where it struggles and our recommended upgrades, split into budget ($4.23), mid-range ($29.28) and premium ($68.81). Start with the cheapest swaps and work your way up.

What the deck does well

  • A clear, fun land-sacrifice theme with strong payoffs like The Gitrog Monster, Korvold and Titania, Protector of Argoth.
  • Plenty of ramp and land recursion like Splendid Reclamation, Worldsoul’s Rage and Szarel, so you rarely miss land drops and the drains add up fast.
  • Hearthhull is both a card-draw engine and a win condition, so the commander always matters.

Where it struggles

  • Escape to the Wilds and Gaze of Granite cost a lot for what they do.
  • Off-theme cards such as Uurg, Spawn of Turg, Pest Infestation and Rakdos Charm dilute the plan.
  • Besides Hearthhull there are few free sacrifice outlets, and Hearthhull needs to be stationed before its abilities work.

Verdict

World Shaper already has a great engine; it just needs cheaper, repeatable ways to sacrifice and recur lands. Cut the clunky spells and it becomes a relentless landfall machine that drains the table out.
