Klingon Fury is the Mardu deck from the Star Trek Commander release, led by Worf, Defiant Commander. Worf brings a hasty 2/1 Klingon Warrior with him, and his Battlefront ability exiles the top card of your library for each opponent you attack, which you can play until the end of your next turn.
This is an aggressive deck that wants to attack every opponent every turn. The stock list has a few slow and defensive cards that don’t fit that plan. The upgrades below add more tokens, more attack triggers and harder-hitting payoffs.
The precon releases on November 13, 2026. Prices for the new Star Trek cards are early preorder prices and usually drop after release. The upgrade cards themselves are all reprints you can buy today.
Recommended upgrades
Pick a budget tab. Every row tells you which card to take out and what to put in, plus why.
Cheap swaps that fix the weakest slots first.
| Cut | Add | From | Why | Buy |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Concerted Effort | Militant Angel | $1.74 €0.89 | Cast it after combat: it makes a 2/2 Knight for every opponent you attacked, and it is a lifelinking flier itself. | TCGplayer · Cardmarket |
| Pest Control | Raid Bombardment | $0.18 €0.15 | Pest Control destroys your own tokens and rocks. Raid Bombardment pings for every small attacker instead. | TCGplayer · Cardmarket |
| Right of Vengeance | Legion Warboss | $0.43 €0.42 | A free attacking Goblin every combat, which means more attackers and more fodder for Kor. | TCGplayer · Cardmarket |
| Merciful Mandate | Windcrag Siege | $0.29 €0.31 | Set it to Mardu and every attack trigger, including Worf’s Battlefront, happens twice. | TCGplayer · Cardmarket |
| Duelist’s Heritage | Fervent Charge | $0.41 €0.30 | Every attacker gets +2/+2, not just one. Your 2/1 Warriors become real threats. | TCGplayer · Cardmarket |

Stronger synergy pieces that make the commander’s plan more consistent.
| Cut | Add | From | Why | Buy |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vanquish the Horde | Isshin, Two Heavens as One | $3.85 €2.73 | Makes every attack trigger happen twice. Worf exiles twice as many cards to play each turn. | TCGplayer · Cardmarket |
| Return to Dust | Zurgo Stormrender | $4.50 €2.33 | Brings an extra attacking token every time it swings, and draws you a card or drains the table whenever a token leaves play. | TCGplayer · Cardmarket |
| Rite of Oblivion | Hellrider | $0.51 €0.69 | Every attacking creature pings the player it attacks. With a wide board that is lethal fast. | TCGplayer · Cardmarket |
| Koloth, Tribble Hunter | Goblin Bombardment | $2.60 €1.91 | A free sacrifice outlet that turns any spare token into damage. Koloth gives every opponent tokens too. | TCGplayer · Cardmarket |

What the deck does well
- Worf gives you extra cards every combat, so attacking wide pays for itself.
- Plenty of Warriors and token makers to attack with.
- Mardu colors offer removal, sacrifice outlets and strong combat tricks.
Where it struggles
- Some cards like Pest Control and Return to Dust can hurt your own board.
- Few ways to double attack triggers or punish blockers.
- The deck runs out of steam if Worf gets removed early.

Verdict
Klingon Fury is a straightforward attacking deck with a commander that keeps your hand full. The budget tier adds more bodies and damage, and the mid-range tier doubles Worf’s triggers.
