Endless Punishment is led by Valgavoth, a flying demon that grows and draws a card the first time each opponent loses life during their own turn. The deck is a pile of punisher effects, but a surprising number of them only fire on your turn, which wastes Valgavoth’s best trigger.

What the deck does well
- Valgavoth draws cards every round once you have steady upkeep or draw-step damage.
- Kederekt Parasite, Fate Unraveler and Nightshade Harvester already punish opponents on their own turns.
- Blasphemous Act, Massacre Girl and Chaos Warp give the deck solid ways to reset the board.
Where it struggles
- Star Athlete and Enchanter’s Bane only punish on your own turn and do little for Valgavoth.
- Rakdos, Lord of Riots and Tectonic Giant are clunky top-end cards that rarely trigger Valgavoth.
- Grab the Prize and Light Up the Stage are low-impact spells in a deck that wants persistent pressure.

Verdict
Endless Punishment has the right idea but too many effects that only work on your own turn. Swap in upkeep drains and taxes and Valgavoth becomes a card-drawing machine.
