What the deck does well
- Zimone snowballs quickly, making each turn’s first X spell cheaper and cheaper.
- Plenty of X payoffs like Hydroid Krasis, Stroke of Genius and Pull from Tomorrow.
- Counter support such as Hardened Scales and Ozolith, the Shattered Spire makes the hydras huge.
Where it struggles
- A Fractal token subtheme with cards like Lattice Library and Fractal Harness spreads the deck thin.
- Mana Bloom and Oversimplify are weak cards that rarely pull their weight.
- Situational cards such as Perplexing Test and Zimone’s Hypothesis often sit dead in hand.

Verdict
Quandrix Unlimited has a great engine in Zimone and lots of satisfying X spells. Cut the Fractal side plan and the clunky situational cards for proliferate, protection and better finishers, and the deck goes from fun to dangerous.
