What the deck does well
- Shiko and Narset gives steady value every turn, either copying a removal spell or drawing a card.
- Lots of cheap cantrips like Preordain make casting two spells a turn easy.
- Strong payoffs already included, such as Monastery Mentor, Storm-Kiln Artist and Archmage Emeritus.
Where it struggles
- Storm and ritual cards like Mana Geyser and Tempest Technique don’t fit a two-spells-a-turn plan.
- Slow or clunky cards like Ancestral Vision and Adaptive Training Post waste early turns.
- Very little protection or counterspells to keep your commander and big turns safe.
