Quick Draw is an Izzet spellslinger deck that rewards casting two or more spells per turn. Stella Lee exiles your top card to play whenever you cast your second spell each turn and can copy an instant or sorcery once you’ve cast three, so these upgrades focus on cheap cantrips, efficient interaction and cost reduction.
Below you’ll find the full interactive decklist, what the deck does well, where it struggles and our recommended upgrades, split into budget ($3.01), mid-range ($11.60), premium ($29.52). Start with the cheapest swaps and work your way up.

What the deck does well
- Stella Lee exiles your top card to play until the end of your next turn whenever you cast your second spell, so cheap spells snowball quickly.
- The deck already has strong spellslinger payoffs like Archmage Emeritus, Storm-Kiln Artist, Veyran and Volcanic Torrent.
- Plenty of cantrips like Ponder, Preordain and Opt keep your hand full of things to chain.
Where it struggles
- Deep Analysis, Tezzeret’s Gambit and Finale of Revelation are slow, expensive draw spells that stall your spell chains.
- Pteramander, Kaza and Octavia are underwhelming creatures that do little for Stella’s two-spell plan.
- Cursed Mirror, Midnight Clock, Propaganda and Smoldering Stagecoach are clunky permanents that rarely matter.

Verdict
Quick Draw has the right engine but too many expensive spells to trigger Stella reliably. Lower the curve with one- and two-mana spells and efficient answers and the deck chains spells every turn.
