Creative Energy is the Jeskai deck from Modern Horizons 3 Commander, led by Satya, Aetherflux Genius. Every time Satya attacks she makes a tapped and attacking token copy of another nontoken creature you control and gives you two energy; at the next end step you keep the copy only by paying energy equal to its mana value. The upgrade is simple: give her creatures whose copies are worth making.
Below you’ll find the full interactive decklist, what the deck does well, where it struggles and our recommended upgrades, split into budget ($4.91), mid-range ($16.10), premium ($35.41). Start with the cheapest swaps and work your way up.

What the deck does well
- Satya’s attack trigger turns every enter-the-battlefield creature into repeatable value without spending extra mana.
- Strong staples like Skyclave Apparition, Combustible Gearhulk and Swords to Plowshares are already in the box.
- Plenty of energy makers such as Aethertide Whale and Whirler Virtuoso let you keep your best copies.
Where it struggles
- Several cards barely interact with Satya, like Era of Innovation, Bident of Thassa and Unstable Amulet.
- Grenzo, Havoc Raiser and Legion Loyalty pull in different directions instead of feeding the copy plan.
- Clunky top-end like Aethersquall Ancient and Coveted Jewel slows the deck or hands opponents value.

| Unstable Amulet | Siege-Gang Commander | $0.26 €0.10 | Each copy brings three more goblins, and the goblins can be sacrificed for damage. | TCGplayer · Cardmarket |
| Silverquill Lecturer | Mulldrifter | $0.28 €0.31 | A Satya copy of Mulldrifter draws two more cards on entering, adding card flow the deck lacks. | TCGplayer · Cardmarket |

| Grenzo, Havoc Raiser | Port Razer | $1.82 €1.51 | Extra combats mean extra Satya attack triggers, and a copied Port Razer that connects can grant yet another combat. | TCGplayer · Cardmarket |

Verdict
Creative Energy has a fun, flexible commander, but too many cards ignore what Satya actually does. Swap the filler for creatures with strong enter triggers, extra combats and protection and it becomes a fast, swingy casual deck.
